Start-up school website
Designed and built an informational website using Google Sites for a developing charter school. The site was structured to present core school information in a clear, accessible format while remaining easy to update by non-technical users.
Implemented a clean page hierarchy, consistent section layouts, and responsive design using native Google Sites components. Prioritized usability, readability, and maintainability over custom styling to ensure long-term sustainability.
The site was built to support future content expansion without requiring changes to the underlying platform.
Redesigned the school’s existing logo to create a refreshed visual identity while maintaining familiarity with the original design. The goal was to modernize the logo without losing recognizability for the school community.
Key elements from the original logo—such as overall form, symbolism, and color relationships—were preserved, while proportions, typography, and visual balance were refined. The updated design improves clarity, consistency, and usability across digital and print materials while remaining aligned with the school’s established identity.
Art Studio Prototype
Designed a prototype website for an art studio to explore and define its digital identity. I created the full concept, including the overall brand direction, color palette, typography, theme, and logo. The project focused on translating the studio’s artistic vision into a cohesive and visually consistent web experience. Layouts were structured to highlight creative work, while the design choices emphasized clarity, aesthetic appeal, and a unified brand presence.
To strengthen the design, I intentionally selected three simplified colors and fonts. This limited palette and typography set was chosen to create a bolder, more consistent visual impact across the site. By reducing visual complexity, it helped maintain cohesion between different sections, ensured readability, and reinforced the studio’s brand identity. At the same time, the simplified design kept the focus on the artwork itself, allowing the creative pieces to stand out while the overall digital experience remained clean and visually balanced.
I created the CraftyART prototype website and logo with a focus on simplicity and boldness. My goal was to design a site that feels clean yet impactful, allowing the brand’s personality to stand out without unnecessary complexity. I developed a distinctive brand identity by carefully selecting cohesive colors, typography, and an overall theme that feels creative and modern. The result is a visually strong and recognizable brand that communicates CraftyART’s purpose clearly while remaining easy to navigate and engaging for users.
